Welcome to SportsRez. The only Sports Reservation System of its kind. A place where you can book your Sports Teams, friends and family and receive the lowest advertised price online. Our low-price-guarantee-policy permits you to book your stay with complete confidence not only for sporting events, but for any reason you might visit Central Florida.

The founders and senior management of SportsRez have been in the travel business for over 25 years, but we’ve been players and coaches of competitive sport all of our lives.

As parents we’ve raised college athletes in hopes that our children will take those lessons we taught them on the field of play and apply them to life lessons that will guide them and our grand children.

We’ve been athletes, sponsors, team moms, coaches, volunteers, boosters, but most of all we’ve been parents of athletes…So when you call SportsRez to help you find lodging, or directions or transportation; we speak to you with the full knowledge of having been there ourselves…We identify with the dynamics of grouping travel for sports teams.

My wife, a former team mom, and I were talking the other day about the good ole neighbor hoods that we were raised in. She was raised in Indiana and I was raised in Georgia, but our times and dynamics were similar. Those were the days when we would come home from school and kick off our shoes, grab a cookie or a piece of cake and a glass of milk> grab a basketball, ball bat and glove, football or whatever was round and leave for our friends. We would spend the rest of the day playing ball only to be called in at the edge of dark by mom for dinner…all mom needed to do was call or whistle and we would come running.

Today’s world and the way we have had to raise our children is totally different. Something really changed…we don’t really know when it changed but it changed for the worse!

The world got mean! Mean like a bunch of bullies on the playground that made you want to fight or to run like crazy! I mean no longer was riding a bike standing on your handlebars acceptable…nope you needed to have a helmet on, and if you did not require your children to wear the helmet you were considered putting your children at risk. Now we have to look over our shoulders all the time while raising our children>>>always vigilant that some creep is going to grab or harm them. Strange cars enter the cul-de-sac and we look at them differently…thinking that we should take note…we became so concerned about our kids that we seldom let them out of the cul-de-sac un accompanied by a parents eye. Yea the world got really mean, stories and rumors and acts of violence toward children were sounded constantly, andwe seldom let down our guard.

HURRAY FOR TRAVEL TEAMS! Travel teams came into our lives and we found out that we could let down the guard a bit around the parents of the kids that were on the same team as our kids. We even got so bold as to leave our little player with the other travel team parents a go for a short date…your know sneak out for a date and not worry about our little player for a little while.

We soon found out that these travel team parents had the same values and concerns as we did, and they were equally vigilant when watching our children, as if they were their own children. Wow, how refreshing!!!

Now we had found the Old Neighborhood again. We found a place where our kids could kick off their shoes, grab a football or a Frisbee, tennis ball, basketball find their travel team buddies and PLAY! Yea play with wild abandon, but with the watchful and trusting eyes of our travel team parents on them. God bless travel teams…and what they bring back to our children!

So we at SportsRez understand…the OLD and the NEW neighborhood…and we CARE!
