Silver Spurs Arena
The most prominent part of the 120-acre Osceola Heritage Park, Silver Spurs Arena is a climate-controlled, 8,300-seat facility that can accommodate a wide variety of types of events ranging from rodeo and horse shows to basketball, indoor football, BMX events, cheerleading, gymnastics, and more. The facility includes 12 luxury suites, a full catering kitchen, and four concession stands. The Silver Spurs Rodeo, the largest PRCA-santioned event east of the Mississippi, is held twice a year in the arena. Besides rodeo action, the arena has hosted a wide variety of sporting events. Amoung them the 2009 Great Florida Shootout national invitational basketball tournament, Don King’s Super Saturday Boxing Championship in 2007, the 2004 USA Gymnastics Jr. Women’s National Championship; Champioship Bull Riding; and the 2007 Florida Paso Fino Horse Association Spectrum International championships, 2010 Florida High School Athletic Competive Cheerleading Championship. ranging from rodeo and horse shows to basketball, indoor football, BMX events, cheerleading, gymnastics, and more.
